Among the many powerful mods in Borderlands 4 is the One Shot Undead Eye Legendary Class Mod. This will take your Vex bleed build to a whole new level. The Undead Eye is one of the best Legendary Class Mods for the Siren Vex in Borderlands 4, especially if you love running sniper builds.
Unfortunately, it’s also one of the rarest drops in the game but with the right route and setup, you can farm it quickly.
Where and How to Find the Undead Eye in BL4
The One Shot Undead Eye is an exclusive Vile Lictor drop, and it is an amazing mod to have. However, since this is a late game boss you’ll have to play the story mode until you reach and complete the main story missing “His Vile Sanctum.”
- Complete the main story mission “His Vile Sanctum.”
This unlocks access to the Umbral Foundry. - Fast travel to the Nightcap Safehouse.
- From there, head through Windspear and into the Umbral Foundry.
- Clear the enemies until you reach Vile Lictor’s arena.
Once you have the mod I highly recommend using it with a sniper build, but it is also great with the Bod Shotgun if that’s what you prefer. Pair everything with the Triple Bypass Legendary Repkit.
- Kills with sniper rifles automatically activate Blood Shot, even without the skill.
- Critical hits with sniper rifles have a 33% chance to trigger Blood Shot.
- It synergizes perfectly with weapons like The Bod, sniper-shotgun hybrids, and crit-heavy builds.
How to Farm the Vile in BL4
After taking down the Vile Lictor once, you can respawn him using Moxxi’s Big Encore machine located near the arena entrance. This allows quick respawns without replaying the mission, and it is the best and only way to farm any boss in Borderlands 4.
- Drop Rate: Roughly 5% or lower, so expect to run the fight multiple times.
- Best farming tip: Some players report higher drop odds when farming with a different Vault Hunter than Vex.
- Co-op Advantage: Farming in multiplayer lets everyone roll their own loot more chances per run.
