Borderlands 4 has plenty of Legendary weapons and most of them are really fun to use. Especially, the pistols in this game OP and my favorite is Phantom Flame. It is an insane Jakobs pistol. While aiming down sights (ADS), you lock onto targets over time; and when you fire while zoomed/ADS, it fires the entire magazine at once. The damage is pretty crazy on this one.
So how do you get it? Well like most other legendary weapons in Borderlands 4, Phantom Flame is also a boss drop.
How to Find Phantom Flame Legendary Weapon in BL4
Phantom Flame is dropped by Pango and Bango but of course, it is a chance drop. However, Pango and Bango have the highest drop rate for Phantom Flame. This boss is found at the Ripper Drill Site, right below the Tendercage in the Lopside area of Carcadia Burn.
Keep using Moxxi’s Big Encore Machine near the boss site to farm Pango and Bango until Phantom Flame legendary pistol drops. In my experience shotguns work best against this boss so if you have one, use it. Target the heads, and you’ll be able to take them down fast.
