The Steel Blossom Katana is one of the legendary weapons in Assassin’s Creed Shadows. And the questline to finding it starts when you chase down one of the Shinbakufu known as The Fool.
His real name is Ise Sadaoki and the questline is called The Bad Brother.
How to Get Steel Blossom Katana
The questline includes multiple objectives:
- Find Ujimasa (Inside Help)
- Assassinate Takahashi Jiro (Inside Help)
- Assassinate Takahashi Inoshichi (Inside Help)
- Find the Messenger (Missing Missive)
- Retrieve the missing letter (Missing Missive)
- Wait for Ise Sadaoki to arrive (The Rising Tide)
- Return to Ise Sadatame (Lost Honor)
- Kill the castle guards (Lost Honor)
- Unlock the inner gate (Lost Honor)
- Assassinate Ise Sadaoki (Lost Honor)
All of these objectives and quests are part of the same questline, The Bad Brother, which eventually leads to Ise Sadaoki.
When you assassinate Ise Sadaoki, you’ll get the Steel Blossom Katana in Assassin’s Creed Shadows.
One thing to note here is that while you can play as Naoe or Yasuke for most of the questline, you won’t have any choice during Lost Honor quest when you have to kill the guards.
Moreover, if you plan to doing romances in AC Shadows, do not play as Yasuke while you’re on the Missing Missive quest. The messenger you are tasked to find is Gennojo, one of the characters Naoe can romance.
If you play as Yasuke during this objective you’ll end up missing the meet cute portion of the romance and potentially miss the entire romance section.
