Legendary weapons are found in abundance in Borderlands 4 but very few are as fun and powerful as Stop Gap Legendary Sniper Rifle. The rifle has a unique “Reconfigure” effect that drastically slows fire rate while boosting damage by up to 750%, making it extremely powerful with sustained fire.

How to Get Stop Gap Legendary Weapon
Start by unlocking the Dissected Plateau (Fadefields). Head over to The Claim which is an abandoned Auger Mine and this is where you will find a boss named The Backhive. You can use Zadra’s Backup Plan fast travel point to reach the mine.
Note: The same boss also drops Triple Bypass Legendary Repkit.
The Backhive boss is the one who drops Stop Gap Legendary Sniper Rifle. I recommend using Encore Machine to farm the boss until it drops the weapon.
Pro tip: Target the underbelly of the boss for max damage. He’ll fall much quicker.
The Backhive will drop level 40 to 50 Rallying or Riotous Stop Gap sniper rifle. At the boss entrance you will find the boss respawn machine which you can use to keep respawning the boss until it drops Stop Gap. Use it to chain farm runs without leaving the area.
