How to Get the Namazu Mount in Assassin’s Creed Shadows?
To get the only known free horse in AC shadows, you have to do a bit of a hustle in the Omi region of the Okishima Island. The best thing about this horse is that you don’t have to beat any main story missions or complete side quests to get this horse and you can get it any time, even after starting the game.
You can loot the Legendary Namazu from a chest hidden inside an underwater cave beneath Okishima Island.
The island is also known as the Cat Island in the game and is located right in the middle of Lake Biwa in the Omi Island. We suggest attempting this mission during the day, as the island is extremely dark during the night.
Players who have already explored the island can fast travel to the Okishima Overlook or the Okishima Kakurega to start. On the other hand, if this is your first time on the island, head over to Omi and then go to River Boy Hamlet. Get a fishing boat and ride it until you reach the island in the north.
Head to the western side of the island and sprint along the shore until you spot a large bonfire next to a cherry blossom tree and a shipwreck. This point is also a location for a side mission, Missing Ship. You can also get the horse after completing this mission if you want.
Take a dive at this point, swim to the bottom of the lake, look around, and you will spot the entrance to the small cave.
Swim into it and keep moving through the tunnels. While swimming, your breath starts going down, but don’t worry, you’ll be just fine. In a few seconds, at the end of the tunnel, you will spot a chest. At this time, your breath is going to be really low, and it is better to go up and have some fresh air.
Now head back towards the chest and open it. The Namazu Mount is all yours now. To exit the cave, go back exactly as you came; make sure you have enough breath for the swim back.
