The new FischFright event in Roblox: Fisch introduces a pretty rare fish, the Skeletal Nessie, which is part of Sila’s Questline.
Even if you manage to hook it somehow, the -90 progress speed will make catching it extremely difficult. To catch it, you will need to follow some steps and hope that the RNG Gods are on your side. If you are struggling with catching the Skeletal Nessie, then follow this Fisch guide.
Catching the Skeletal Nessie in Roblox: Fisch
First step is to unlock the Nessier’s Catacombs. Make your way to the Nessie Statue (GPS X: 81.7, Y: 143.9, Z: -11367). Grab a Baby Nessie and walk up to the statue, which will unlock a secret area with several altars. These altars will require you to place 5 different Frightful Skulls. But what if we don’t have the Nessie and the 5 Frightful Skulls? Don’t worry, I gotchu.
How to Catch the Baby Nessie Fish
You can get Baby Nessie by fishing or through trick-or-treating. Grab your fishing rod can head over to the shores of Crook’s Hollow and start fishing, while also keeping the following factors in mind:
- Preferred Bait: Gobstopper
- Preferred Time: Night
- Preferred Weather: None
- Preferred Season: Autumn
The chance of getting Baby Nessie from trick-or-treating is less than 1.8%. Grab your Candy Bucket from your inventory and knock on the doors with numbers on each island to get candies and sometimes fish like the Baby Nessie. You will be met with the following options:
- Trick: You’ll get candy.
- Treat: You’ll receive a special fish.
5 Frightful Skulls Locations
To get these heads, you must fish in their respective color pools. Every hour, Frightful pools will spawn all across the map. Visit them and start fishing to get the skull associated with the color of the pool. I fished in a Green Frightful Pool and got the Green Frightful Skull. This goes for the other skulls as well.
I suggest you do it in a private server, so other players don’t get it before you. Hunting these with friends will make the process a lot easier. Be patient because you might get the same color pool a few times.
How to Get the Skeletal Nessie in Roblox: Fisch
Once you have gathered the heads, place them, and a secret passage will unlock ahead, leading to a lake where the Skeletal Nessie resides. You will have around 10 to 15 minutes to catch the Skeletal Nessie. If you fail to do so, you will have to redo all the above steps to unlock the Catacombs.
As your chances of even hooking, let alone catching the Skeletal Nessie, are pretty slim, you will need some Luck. For that, you can use any high luck rod and pop an Aurora Totem, which will significantly boost luck. If you want to increase the Luck even more, buy Merlin’s Luck from Suntone Island. You can also buy Luck using Robux, which can get pricey, but is worth it.

About the -90 progress speed, I suggest you use the Rods of Depths, Serraphic rod, or Zeus rods with the Flashline, Immortal, Blessed Song, or Steady enchantments, which will help you catch the Skeletal Nessie easily by offering high Resilience.
After catching the Skeletal Nessie, return to Silus to complete the quest and claim a large lump sum of Candy, which you can use at the event store to collect more rods and other items.
