When you start off in Rune Factory Guardians of Azuma you’re limited to how much building and decorations you can do. However, you progress in the game, you can increase the building and decoration limit in RFGoA.

Increasing Building and Decoration Limit in Rune Factory Guardians of Azuma

Level Up Village

The only way to increase the building and decoration limit is to level up your village. With every level up, you can increase building and decoration limit in RFGoA. Moreover, each village has its own limits and levels so you have to level up every village; building and decoration limit won’t increase across the board.

Decoration limits are higher than building limits which makes sense since buildings are larger, there is more space and they require more decorations.

If you want to check your current limits, go to the Village Menu and check the Village Level. You can also check max buildings and decorations on the Village Bonuses panel when the Terra Tiller is equipped.

Clear Blightblooms

In addition to Leveling Up villages you can unlock more development zones in case you have a large max limit but no space. This is done by clearing Blight using the Sacred Sword. The blight are the purple Blightlooms found in development zones.

There are also Poisonblooms and Burnblooms that can be cleared using Scared Fan and Sacred Parasol respectively. More development zones are unlocked when level up villages too.
