In Anno 117 Pax Romana, your main focus shifts to increasing resources, whether it’s your population, wealth, troops or any other game-related useful items. There comes a point when you have gathered the resources, but don’t have enough storage for them.
When the storage limit is reached, the production in the buildings stops, so to move further in the game, you need extra space for things. Here’s how you can easily increase the storage limits in Anno 117 Pax Romana.
How to Upgrade Storages in Anno 117 Pax Romana
So, the first thing is, what actions will lead to an increase in storage capacity? Mainly, two things contribute to the increase in the storage capacity in Anno 117; some specific buildings and doing research.
From the research tree, try to upgrade the following:
- Trading Post Improvements

- Depots

- Deep Depots

Other than research, you also get an extra storage by building a Trading post that deals with your island’s trading. Upgrade them to boost the speed of trading and, along with that, to get an extra storage capacity of 75 for each resource item automatically.
Upgrading the trading post for one island will only affect the storage capacity of that specific island, so you need to upgrade all the trading posts on each island under your control to increase storage capacity.
You can upgrade the trading port twice, which can raise the capacity up to 150.
After completing the research for the depot, which enables you to construct them on your island. Build a depot on your island anywhere to get more storage for another 75.
Later in the game, you will also be able to add another 75 by researching deep depots.
