I loved running GeForce Now on Steam Deck but GeForce Now is divine on Asus ROG Ally. It runs so well, and it is really fun to use. Also, it is much more stable than the beta version available on Steam Deck.

The first step to installing on Asus ROG Ally is to download the client so we will start there. Let’s begin!

Step #1: Download GeForce Now On Asus ROG Ally

Use any browser on Asus ROG Ally and go to the following link: https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/geforce-now/download/. Scroll down all the way to the footer section of the game and click on “Download” under the Asus ROG Ally tab.

The link will immediately download the GeForce Now client on your Asus ROG Handheld. The files will end up in the downloads folder.

Step #2: Install GeForce Now

Run the installer on Asus ROG Ally and it will download in a few simple steps. Keep following the on-screen instructions, that’s all you need to know to get it running.

Of course, you’ll need a GeForce Now account and there is also premium subscription if you want to max out settings in video games.

Performance

Performance in most games is absolutely amazing. It takes a ton of load off of your handheld, and testing shows you can save up to 10% battery while playing through GeForce Now on Asus ROG Ally.

You can easily max out most games at 1080p. I could not recommend GeForce Now enough for your ROG Ally.
