There is no shortage of enemies in Assassin’s Creed Shadows that players need to take out to make ancient Japan a better place. Sometimes you have to kill bosses and skilled enemies to proceed, and often you have to deal with low-level enemies known as Outlaws or Bandits.

These Outlaws wear rags or less armor than other enemy types and often guard camps with lootable goods. Most of the time, you will find Outlaws wandering in groups outside cities and towns. Once you take down all the Bandits, you can loot the camps and gather valuable resources.

Hence, knowing how to kill them is of vital importance for players. In this guide, we will explain how to kill these Outlaws or Bandits while playing as Naoe or Yasuke.

How to Kill Outlaws in Assassin’s Creed Shadows as Naoe?

Naoe’s main skill in Assassin’s Creed Shadows is stealth and her ability to move in the shadows. While Outlaws aren’t heavily armored and don’t have a strong defense, they can attack quickly, and they are mostly present in large numbers.

As Outlaws Camps are present outside the main cities, you will find plenty of bushes and trees to hide and attack without them knowing. This lets you stay hidden while you assassinate them. When you kill an enemy in Assassin’s Creed Shadows, their companions quickly get alert. If you want to stay hidden and not get caught, don’t forget to hide the victim’s body in bushes before executing the next one.

Or, you can leave the body in the open and let the other Outlaws gather around. Once they do, come out from your hiding and take all of them down.

For killing Outlaws quickly and effectively, Double Assassinate is an excellent skill to unlock. With this skill, Naoe can assassinate two enemies in one single blow. If you haven’t unlocked Double Assassinate, you will have to unlock the Tanto and reach Knowledge Level 2. It will cost 3 mastery points.

How to Kill Outlaws in Assassin’s Creed Shadows as Yasuke?

In Assassin’s Creed Shadows, Yasuke is quite the opposite of Naoe. While the latter relies on stealth, the former’s strength is brute force. His skills and abilities make it easier for players to take down not only Bandits or Outlaws but more potent enemies as well.

If you are skilled in combat, you’ll kill Outlaws quite easily, but if you let your guard down for even a second, Outlaws can easily overpower you, especially when there are numerous bandits attacking you at once.

For Yasuke, the best skill for killing Outlaws is Crescent Strike. It comes from the Naginata Tree and deals 25% ability damage and pushes the enemies back.

It creates room for you to maneuver while fighting with Outlaws. To get Crescent Strike, you need to unlock the Naginata Skill Tree and reach Knowledge Level 1.

It will cost you 5 Mastery Points. If you really want to tell Outlaws that Yasuke is the boss, enhance Crescent Strike further by unlocking the Deep Cut and Disabling Strike skills. With these you can knock down enemies quickly and deal 35% Bleed build-up.

How and Where to Find Outlaws in Assassin’s Creed Shadows?

Killing Outlaws or Bandits brings various rewards in AC Shadows. They aren’t too difficult to find as they wander around small camps outside major towns and cities. If you want to test the skills you have just learned, roam the roads between towns, and you’ll come across plenty of them.

In addition to this, there are numerous quests and contracts that you can get throughout your journey across Japan. One contract that you can get is Eliminate Outlaws, which will have you execute groups of Outlaws outside various cities, towns, or rural outposts. You are also required to find and kill Outlaws in AC Shadows Anomaly Quest.

If you want to get contracts for killing Outlaws, you first have to build the Kakurega at your Hideout. It costs you 60 Crops, 30 Wood, and 5 Minerals. Open the table in the Kakurega building to check contracts. These contracts are seasonal and change after some sometime.
