The new survival game Atomfall offers a bunch of different skills for you to unlock. Skills are your way to surviving in the harsh world of Atomfall but they also allow you to interact with the game’s world in new ways.
Skills are not just limited to survival but some of them boost damage or help preserve consumables. However, how do you unlock new skills in Atomfall? That is what I am here to answer.
How to Unlock Skills
There are two steps to unlock skills in Atomfall:
- Skill Manuals
- Training Stimulants
Skill Manuals
Skill Manuals serve as fundamental tools which help players access advanced abilities that go beyond their basic skills.
A single manual provides access to multiple skills which belong to the same category. The game features these manuals throughout its world at different locations but they can also be acquired through quest rewards.
One manual unlocks a set of 3 skills in one of the four skill trees in the game.
Training Stimulants
The second step is to get the Training Stimulants.
The Training Stimulants function as game items which you need to unlock skills after getting the required Skills Manuals.
You can find these stimulants throughout the game world by searching for them in BARD Crates and hidden spots.
For example, two Training Stimulants exist within Bunker L6 in Slatten Dale where you can find one in a BARD Crate and the other on a nearby shelf.
The best locations are bunkers of the Quarantine Zone where Training Stimulants are found in large amounts often. Not only check BARD caches but look out for stimulants sitting on shelves.
Can You Reset Skills in Atomfall?
No, you can’t reset skills in Atomfall. Once a skills in activated and the Training Stimulant is consumed, there is no going back so choose your skills wisely. Early on, focus on getting skills that boost your damage output and survivability.
It is recommended to create a save point before testing skills you might not be sure about. If you like the new unlocks, great! But if not, you can always reload the previous save and start over.
