Battlefield games can be a bit overwhelming for newcomers, especially if you are coming from Call of Duty. So what you might need is a way to get a hang of things, get familiar with the gameplay mechanics, and the objective based nature of Battlefield.

In Battlefield 6, the game allows you to play against bots which is a great way to understand how everything works; from maps to testing your builds you can do everything.

How to Play with Bots in BF6

With the release of Battlefield 6 EA has added an amazing custom games mode called Portals. This is where the player can create their own games by customizing every aspect of a match. Through Portals, you can create your own games and play against bots in BF6.

There are a few steps to this:

  • Head over to the Portals website and link your Battlefield 6 account from Steam or EA app.
  • When you log into the Portals website, you will be given the option to either create new content or edit existing maps created by other players.
  • Select “Create New”
  • In the next page you can select which game mode you want to play. You can choose between Rush, Conquest, and Breakthrough. Select of the three options.
  • Now you can add bots to your game. After selecting the game mode the next page will have the option called “Bot Spawn Type.” From this drop down menu select the “Backfill” option.

Now all you have to do is name your server, add a description, select an icon, and hit the publish button. You can then launch BF6 and from the main menu select Community option, and choose “My Experience” to find your newly created bot server.
