What’s the point of having a powerful PC if you can’t run the games at the frame rate you want? Not because your hardware isn’t capable, but developers have chosen to lock the frame rate to 60. For a PC gamer who knows he can push The Alters, 60 is nothing, it is embarrassing.
Thankfully, the PC community comes in clutch every time in these situations. The Alters 60 fps cap is no longer a problem thanks to a quick patch created by Lyall.
How to Unlock The Alters Frame Rate
Lyall’s patch will unlock the game’s frame rates in cutscenes. No longer we have to suffer through inconsistency in frame rates in The Alters. Here is how to install it:
- Fully close down the game.
- Go to Codeberg and down the patch files SUWSF zip. under Installation.
- Extract the zipped files inside the game’s installation folder.
Once the patch is installed you will get unlocked frame rates during cutscenes in The Alters. If you want to remove the patch for any reason simply delete the files you extracted in the installation folder and everything will be back to normal.
