In Borderlands 4, you need to constantly build or change skills accordingly to have that perfect Vault hunter. Sometimes you set your skill set to a specific situation or a specific enemy, but one skill set that work well for one boss fight is not guaranteed to work wonders for the other.

How To Reset Skill Points in Borderlands 4
You will unlock the ability to Respec your skill point quite early in the game after completing the 3rd mission in Borderlands 4, “Down and Outbound.” This mission will unlock the first respec machine in Borderlands 4.
After completing the mission you can come back here and unlock an area, The Launchpad Faction Town. Once you have unlocked that area you can access fast travel to the area.
Fast travel to the location you will go to the center of the town. Go inside the building that I have shown in the image below for reference.
Upon entering, you will see a dome shaped machine, the Respec machine in front of you. Interact with the machine to start resetting your skill points in Borderlands 4. Of course, it’s not free you have to pay some price for it.
Once you have entered into the respec skill points machine, you can reset the skill point indefinitely. But if you finish the respec and leave its menu you need to pay again to enter the Respec machine. So be careful before leaving its options.
The amount scales with your level / how many skill points you’ve spent. As you level up more and invest more, the cost goes up. Approximate cost: ~10% of your current cash in some cases. You can respec an entire skill tree or all skill trees. So you don’t always need to wipe everything; you can target just what you want.
You can also respec Specialization Points, but those require a different resource, Eridium, instead of cash. If you only want to tweak one tree, use the “respec tree” option instead of “respec all” to save cost/time.

You can go to any of the respec machine locations from the map shown above to respec your skill points. However, the first machine won’t unlock until you complete the 3rd mission of Borderlands 4.
