Meeting Quest: Ambush Interrupted
You meet Ibuki in Kashiwara Village for the first time during the Ambush Interrupted quest. Yasuke and Ibukki have some steamy and intimate moments that you can unlock by making the right dialogue choices.
Ibuki Romance Dialogue Choices
Here are the dialogue choices to pick if you want to romance Ibuki in AC Shadows.
- Homecoming 1: “I am here to help.”
- Homecoming 2: “Your mind works in beautiful ways.”
- Homecoming 3: “You don’t have to be alone.” (to recruit)
- Homecoming 4: “Let’s be together in another way.”

Homecoming
You get the first chance to flirt and romance Ibuki during the Homecoming quest. The quest is similar to Yasuke’s The Wheel Turns quest with Lady Oichi, as it offers various chances to flirt with Ibuki.
The first of these dialogue options comes during a meeting between Yasuke and Ibuki on the hill. Ibuki shares that something might be wrong; select “I am here to help” to kindle the fire between the two.
The second dialogue option comes when you are gazing at stars while sitting on the rock after your battle. Select “Your mind works in beautiful ways” to keep on flirting with Ibuki.
On the following day, you will see Ibuki sitting by the water. Select “You don’t have to be alone” if you want to recruit him on your side. To continue romancing Ibuki, select “Let’s be together in another way.”
Putting Down Roots
After greeting Ibuki after the start of the Putting Down Roots quest, choose “You have beautiful eyes” to keep your romance going on with Ibuki.
After this, join Ibuki over the river east of Hijiyama to start your date. This is the last stage of romance between Ibuki and Yasuke. While you give Ibuki a gift of Blue Anemone Seeds, select “I want more than friendship” and it unlocks a hot and steamy kiss sequence between Ibuki and Yasuke.
In addition to Ibuki, Yasuke romances three more characters, namely Hori Hidemasa, Lady Oichi, and Rin.
