Assassin’s Creed Shadows, just like all the previous Assassin’s Creed franchises, offers various romance options for its protagonists. Naoe, one of the two main characters, encounters 4 people throughout the game that she can flirt and romance.

How to Romance Mayu in Assassin’s Creed Shadows?
Meeting Quest: Mayu’s Offering
Naoe doesn’t get to romance Mayu as much as she does with Gennojo and Katsuhime, as it takes place in only one quest. The quest, Mayu’s Offering, is quite long and will take you some time before you can get close to Mayu. The quest is to complete a pilgrimage and find all the 69 Jizo statues that are spread across the Japanese countryside.
May Romance Dialogue Choices
Here are the different dialogue choices you need to make as Naoe if you want to romance Mayu.
- Mayu’s Offering 1: Honor 10 Jizo Statues and select ““I know that feeling” dialogue
- Mayu’s Offering 2: Honor 35 Jizo Statues and select “You can follow your own path” dialogue.
- Mayu’s Offering 3: Honor all 69 Jizo Statues and select “I learned to follow my own intuition” dialogue option and then choose “Not before I kiss you.”
Mayu’s Offering
Once halfway through the quest, Naoe will be directed back to Mayu, and she will engage in a small chitchat with her. Select “You can define your own path” during this conversation as a romance option.
Once you are done with the quest, go back to Mayu if you want to continue romancing her. Mayu asks Naoe about her pilgrimage; select “I learned to follow my own intuition.”
During the conversation, Mayu will mention that it is time to say goodbye; select “Not Before I kiss you” and it will unlock a steamy scene where Naoe and Mayu share a steamy kiss.
Apart from Mayu, Gennojo, and Katsuhime, Naoe will also get to romance Koshiro in AC Shadows.
