In Pathologic 3, saving Rubin on day IV is important and can be annoying if you don’t trigger the right events at the right time. Grace’s vision and thoughts are not very straightforward, so you cannot solve everything by decrypting the messages right away. Grace’s vision tells you that a man named Rubin is buried alive, and you need to save him. Your course of action will decide whether Rubin lives or dies.

How to Save Rubin in Pathologic 3?

On day 4, when you are trying to solve who killed Simon from the thoughts questline, there is a point of interest at the cemetery by the name Grace’s Vision. According to her, she feels that a man is buried alive right now at the cemetery.

First Attempt

In your first attempt, you will not be able to save Rubin, so in the first attempt, you just need to locate his grave where he is buried alive. After entering the cemetery, there is a shovel near the main entrance of the cemetery. You cannot just directly save him on the first go; you need further thoughts after failing the first attempt.

Location Of Rubin’s Grave

To locate Rubin’s Grave, head left from Farhad’s grave to the path where you can see a bunch of crows hovering over. The crows are an indication of Rubin’s grave. Interact with the Rubins’ grave and dig it using the shovel, but it’s too late; he’s already suffocated and died. This will open a minimind map of the Second attempt.

Second Attempt
