Rebellion Development’s Atomfall is one of the best RPGs to launch this year. It reminds me of simpler times when games were more about gameplay, story, and design, and less about politics.
But simpler times also had a complicated problem. Launchers! When you launch Atomfall you have to go through its damn launcher which is annoying to say the least. But I have good news, you can actually skip the Atomfall launcher on PC.
How to Skip the Atomfall Launcher
So lets go through this again, every time you start the game on Steam you have to wait for Atomfall’s launcher which is kind slow and a useless extra step.
Here is what you need to do:
- Launch Steam and go to your library
- Right click on Atomfall and click on Properties
- In the game’s General tab type -benchmark in the Launch Options bar
Once you type in this command, Atomfall will skip the launcher on PC and directly start. When you skip the launcher you can then adjust the game’s settings directly from inside the game.
