How to Solve Arcas Spire Puzzle in Hell is Us

Hell is Us features a lot of confusing puzzles, one of it being the Arcas Spire Puzzle. And when I say confusing, I mean really confusing. It took me a lot of time to figure this puzzle out.

You will come across this puzzle in Act 2 while searching for the Keystone of Terror. This will be the last and most confusing puzzle of Act 2.

The solution becomes easier if you know what plates to step on and what plates to avoid. Below you will find a complete breakdown on how to solve the Acras Spire puzzle. However, there is something you need to understand.

I would like to say here is that there will be minor spoilers here. You have been warned.

Arcas Spire Puzzle Solution in Hell is Us

You must first obtain the Sword of the Blood Queen, acquired during the Marastan Blood Queen quest. Then, back in Senedra Forest, place it into the pedestal at the Arcas Spire entrance to open the way. This is the only way to reach the area with the puzzle.

Puzzle Clue: The cage with the Tower sigil shall stir and rise when any of the pressure plates A1, B4, and D1 feel the weight of blood and pain.

The puzzle requires pulling numerous levers, pressure plates, and contraptions. This makes the puzzle very confusing, not difficult.

First step is to pull levers with these symbols: Skull, Twin-Headed Snake, and the Tower. Now, to get to those levers, you will need to match the pressure plates that will open the caged contraption in front of the respective symbols.

Puzzle Clue: Each pressure plate where the numeral four is etched calls forth the opening of all prison cells within its section. There are six separate sections.

This will give you access to the levers inside them. If you take a closer look, you will see some letters and numbers on the pressure plates like A1, A2, B1, B2, and so on. To open the chamber doors, you need the right combination. To unlock the main doorway at the top, activate these symbol levers:

That combo should unlock the exit door leading upward.

Puzzle Clue: Each pressure plate, when burdened with agony, shall also unbar the two cells that stand on both its sides.

The symbols with unlock the door, but there is a catch here. The door is only opened for a short time to make sure to pull the lever after stepping on the right plates, according to the symbols I shared above.

Once done, the three symbols at the top will begin to glow, unlocking the exit. Keep some healing items with you in case you step on the wrong plate. You can step on any plate in any order, since there is no order you must follow for Acras Spire puzzle.

You can also scan the area with your drone, which reveals clues for the puzzle and pressure plates.

Now that the exit door of the chamber is unlocked, you can progress further through the game.

Acras Spire Puzzle Rewards

After completing the Arcas Spire Puzzle in Hell is Us, you can unlock the remaining doors to obtain some rewards by matching the combination of symbols with the letters and numbers and pulling down the respective levers.
