How Can I Tame Animals in 99 Nights in the Forest
Firstly, get your hands on Taming Flutes and foods, depending on the animal. Taming Flutes can be found in the Domestication Cabin, inside a red tent with a pot.
This place is just beside your campfire, so you won’t have any trouble finding it. For now, you will just get Old Taming Flutes. So to make them of any use, you’ll need to upgrade them to a higher tier. Here’s how to do that:
- Make your way to the Upgrade Building near your camp with the Taming Flute Upgrade station.
- Keep taming pets until the yellow bar above the map icon fills up.
- Once it does, you can upgrade to the next level at the Taming Flute Upgrade Station.
The Taming Flute level requirement differs from pet to pet, and so does the food. Here are the Taming Flute and food requirements and each pet in 99 Days in the Forest:

Taming Mini-Game
Now that you have the flute and the food, you need to complete a minigame, and the pet will be tamed. It’s almost the same as the fishing one, so you won’t have any trouble completing it. Just keep the red line inside the green bar, which will constantly be moving. You might need to play the minigame a few times, depending on the animal. If you are still struggling, use the Zookeeper Class as it enlarges the bar.
