As part of your quest “Start Your First Day At Hogwarts,” that includes Defense Against Dark Arts Class and Charms Class, you learn Levioso by the end of the Dark Arts class and learn Accio in Hogwarts Legacy by the end of the Charms class, which is also part of the same main quest, “Start Your First Day At Hogwarts.

How To Get Accio In Hogwarts Legacy
From the field guide map, trace the charms class in the astronomy wing, or you can fast travel there using Floo Flame locations in the Astronomy wing.
Once you begin the quest, you will meet Natsai Onai (Natty), who will ask you to sit beside her. After the cutscene, you will play a mini-game. This mini game requires you to follow the symbols and press the corresponding input to accelerate the wand’s motion. The mini game is time-sensitive. Accio is awarded to you by Professor Ronen.
After the cutscene, you will play a mini-game using the Accio spell for practice. The result of the mini-game, win or lose, will not affect the course of your journey at Hogwarts.
How To Equip & Use Accio Spell In Hogwarts Legacy
To use the Accio after unlocking it, you need to equip it first.
- For PlayStation: Hold R2 and open the spell wheel, and select the buttons (△/□/○/X) to assign Accio.
- For Xbox: Hold RT, and the rest is the same as PlayStation.
- On PC: Hold Tab (default) to open spell wheel and use numeric keypad from 1 to 4 to equip Accio.
After assigning a specific key for Accio, just press that key to use the spell, e.g if you have assigned 2 for it on PC, just press that key to cast the spell in Hogwarts Legacy. You can select the keys according to your choice or change it at any point in the game.
Why Is the Accio Spell Used In Hogwarts Legacy
Accio is a force-type spell that can pull the objects/targets towards you. It is a close-range spell that will pull enemies flying towards you, stunning them for a while.
Accio works best in combination with Levioso. First cast Accio to pull an enemy towards you and cast Levioso to extend the time of stay in air and then basic cast to cause maximum damage
How To Master the Accio Spell in Hogwarts Legacy
By using talent points, you can unlock Accio mastery that will allow pull all enemies near a target that summoned by Accio.
You need level 5 to unlock this mastery level though.
