Incendio is one of the best early game spells that belongs to the force class in Hogwarts Legacy. In Hogwarts Legacy, your survival in the world map primarily depends on spell combos. How to unlock Incendio in Hogwarts Legacy
After learning ancient magic from the Quest, ” WELCOME TO HOGSMEADE” during the troll fight, you will unlock Incendio after unlocking the Quest ” FIND THE SECRETS IN THE RESTRICTED SECTION”.
Incendio is not part of that quest. You first go to the restricted section of the library with Sebastian and find Fig’s book, or you can choose to complete Professor Hecats’ assignment first. Choice is yours!
First, open the Quest from the field guide and select Professor Hecat’s Assignment 1, which requires you to complete two tasks to learn the Incendio spell. These two tasks are
- Complete a round of spell combination practice with Lucan Brattleby
- Win two rounds of cross-wands
From the field guide map, track the quest location and head to the south wing where Lucan is waiting for you. Talk to him and first he will ask you to practice the spell sets on a dummy in a specific order. Upon completion of practicing combos, you can then start the duel gauntlet
To complete the second task, go to the south wing to complete the duel and win. Here is a YouTube video that might help you with the duel fight. Although there are a total of three rounds of cross wands but to complete Professor Hecat’s first task, you just need 2 rounds to win here.
Now return to Professor Hecat after you are finished with the assignment and talk to her.
