There is no shortage of challenging missions and puzzles to solve in Blue Prince. Getting Her Ladyship’s Diary and drafting Her Ladyship’s Chamber are a fine example of how this puzzle-adventure tests the critical thinking and patience of the players. It is one of the most challenging missions in the game, as the room is hard to draft and has some specific location requirements as well. The Diary you are after is also locked, and getting it isn’t that easy.
It is important to get this key if you want to unlock all the secrets in the estate. You’ll require planning and multiple runs along with various items unless you collect the right draft pool for Her Ladyship’s Chamber.
In this Blue Prince guide, we will discuss how you can draft Her Ladyship’s Chamber and where you can find the Diary Key. Before you proceed, please note that this guide contains some spoilers.
How to Draft Her Ladyship’s Chamber?
After all, drafting Her Ladyship’s Chamber is not as clueless as you thought it was. The description gives a couple of hints about the draft location. It clearly states that the room is on the western side of the house and is a tribute to her childhood home in Eraja. Eraja is the kingdom to the south.
These clues are enough to reveal that Her Ladyship’s Chamber is to be drafted in the left wing of the estate and with a door facing south.
You have to collect some Ivory Dice for the rerolls. Draft the Study and collect some gems for rerolls. Once you solve the chess puzzle, you can acquire the Banner of the King and then select Bedrooms. If you have 50 stars, you can head to the Observatory and find the Inkwell constellation, which lets you spend stars for redrawing rooms.
After drafting Her Ladyship’s Chamber, you have to get the Key to Her Ladyship’s Diary.
How to Get Her Ladyship’s Diary Key in Blue Prince?
Drafting Her Ladyship’s Chamber is half the job done; players still have to unlock the Diary. The Diary Key is a quest in its own. To complete this mission, you need a Burning Glass or a Torch.
- To find the Burning Glass, you need a Magnifying (Looking) Glass and a Metal Detector. Draft the Workshop and head over there to craft the Burning Glass.
- To get Torch, solve the chess puzzle and add Mantle of the Knight to the Armory to your draft pool. You can then buy a Self-Ignited Torch.
Now draft the Tomb. It only appears on the Outer Room door through the West Gate. Use the Burning Glass or Torch to light up a pair of ruby-encrusted candlesticks. It will open a secret passage. The Tomb has two pairs of candlesticks and the first one is near the main entrance.
Now head to the backside of the Tomb and you will see the second pair sitting between two large statues. Light them as well to reveal a secret entrance to Lady Epsen’s coffin.
You will see a photo on top of the coffin. The Diary Key is right behind it. As is evident, getting the Diary Key is not an easy task, and it is a rare item. It is better to store it in a Coat Check Room until you have drafted Her Ladyship’s Chamber.
What is Inside Her Ladyship’s Diary?
The Diary provides information about the different bedrooms in the estate. If you decide to call it a day inside the room, you’ll explore that each room has a special effect. The last page of the Diary holds the most important details. It has a sketch that is quite similar to the Antechamber in the Outer Room. It gives a hint that after you get the Blessing of the Monk from the Shrine, you can draft the Antechamber.
Here are some details about the different rooms in the estate.
- Her Ladyship’s Chambers: -10 steps for the next day but +1 star in the sky.
- Guest Bedroom: no special effect
- Bunk Room: an extra flower at the grave in the Tomb
- Servant’s Quarters: lose half of your total steps but gain an extra dice
- Master Bedroom: get more steps at the start of the day than usual
How to Use Her Ladyship’s Chamber in Blue Prince?
