In Dying Light:The Beast you need safe zones and safe spots to survive in the night, sleep and heal yourself. Safe spots are vertical wooden towers relatively smaller than safe zones.
Safe zone are normally large building and areas. Some safe zones have workbench too, where you can modify your weapons as well.
Safe zones run on power, so mostly you need to activate this safe zone by attaching the power cable from somewhere near the safe zone. You will also remove blockades or do others task well to unlock a specific safe zone.
Highway Bus Refuge Safe zone is one such zone that you can unlock by doing two things:
- Secure the entrance
- Restore power
How To Activate Highway Bus Refuge Safe Zone In Dying Light: The Beast
To active Highway Bus Refuge Safe zone first go to the exact location on the map as I’ve shown in the image below. Go in the North-East direction from the cement gardens and once you are closer, just track it from the map.
The first thing you need to do is climb up the zone where you will see a yellow school bus. To secure the safe zone, lock the door that is on the left side of the bus.
Next you need to restore the power. There is a treasure map D4 inside the bus near the radio beside a plant vase. Read it, and you will get the hint to restore the power for the Highway Bus Refuge Safe Zone In Dying Light: The Beast.
The treasure map D4 says that:
You Know what J. Calls those old factories? Surprise cakes. Let’s hope the surprise this time isn’t a horde of biters and empty storerooms, it’s worth checking the rooftop entrance A.
Along with that there is a blueprint of the hint that point towards the rooftop of entrance A. The factory building is just in front of the Highway bus safe zone.
Go down from the safe zone from right in front of the school bus. Climb on the pipe and go up. At the end of the pipe there is a metal ledge on your left using that ledge go left and climb up again using the pipe.
Jump left towards the window and grab the ledge. Time your jump carefully. From there jump on the AC outer and go up to the rooftop entrance A.
Grab the power cable and slide down using the wire towards the Highway bus safe zone area. Plug the power cable in to restore the power and unlock the Highway Bus Safe zone.
