The Mystery Man is an NPC in Mewgenics, who is named after your Steam Account ID and serves as a scavenger. To unlock him, you will need to send a dead cat down a pipe outside their house. How to Unlock Mystery Man
Once you are done with your first run in Mewgenics, you will unlock a pipe outside your house that links to seven NPCs. Using this, you can permanently send your cats to them if the right conditions are met.
Among those NPCs is Mystery Man, to whom you can only send dead cats. In return, he will bring back certain Items you lose on runs and add other rare Items to his shop. Now, to get those dead cats, you can either go on several runs or just progress the game. I suggest you go with the second method, as you will encounter several tough bosses and enemies throughout your journey.
Get your entire team of cats dead and let the run end. After that, Mystery Man will show up on your screen to gleefully declare the fall of your crew. Return and click on the Map icon to see the Mystery Man unlocked with an “!” on it. Interact with it and watch the cutscene to unlock him completely.
