Gemstone Cavern and Apple Orchard are not the only sections of Blue Prince that are locked outside the manor. The West Side gate is also locked but you can unlock it.
When you manage to unlock the West Gate you get access to a small building with more secrets, and new outside rooms you can draw. Here is the list of rooms:
- Toolshed
- Shrine
- Schoolhouse
- Shelter
- Root Cellar
- Hovel
- Trading Post
- Tomb
How to Enter the West Gate in Blue Prince
You must complete two tasks during your exploration of the mansion to access the West Gate. You can complete these tasks in any sequence but you need access to both the Utility Closet and the Garage.
The Utility Closet contains a control panel featuring multiple buttons and switches. The red switch controlling Garage power should be positioned to the left to activate the Garage power supply.
Next, head to the Garage.
Check the wall-mounted box by the door for a switch or intercom appearance after powering it on. The power switch will display a green light when the system functions correctly.
The Garage Door will open when you activate the switch allowing you to exit through the small driveway. Moving south along the path will take you to the opposite side of the West Gate. You can open the gate from this position.
The West Gate becomes permanently unlocked after you receive a fullscreen notification.
