Mixing Stations is where the magic happen. This is where you get to use your knowledge to create amazing new recipes to keep the business going.

Learning how to use the Mixing Station to cook to new recipes is the key to success in Schedule 1.

How to Mix Product Using the Mixing Station in Schedule 1

You must reach Hoodlum 1 Rank to buy the Mixing Station at Dan’s Hardware for $500 credit before starting.

After acquiring the station you can try various mixtures to find new products and results. The production of certain mixes needs multiple steps because you must return the product to the mixer with additional ingredients to reach your desired results.

The Mixing Station is at the hardware store and if you keep playing the main quests you’ll automatically be guided toward the Mixing Station.

But you can get to the Mixing Station even before any missions that lead up to it but in that case you won’t really understand what to do with it.

The Mixing Station Works by using Mixing Ingredients. Thins of them as crafting materials or cooking materials you may be used to in other games.

Some of the ingredients you can use are available from the department store. Grab the ones you like and come back to the Mixing Station. Mixing Ingredients are listed under the “Ingredients” tab in Gas Marts.

When you put the mixing ingredients in the mixing station you will get a prompt showing the final product. But if it is a product you haven’t unlocked yet, then the prompt will only show “???” on the screen.

You’ll see the final results and unlock the product too when the mixing process is complete.

Choose a base product (e.g., OG Kush, Sour Diesel) and an ingredient (e.g., Cuke, Flu Medicine) to mix. Place both items into the Mixing Station to create a new product with combined effects.

You can experiment with different materials at the Mixing Station to discover new products.

Each ingredient adds specific effects to the base product. The combination of OG Kush with Cuke produces “Thick Monkey” which delivers both relaxing and stimulating effects.

Online calculators enable you to test combinations without using your in-game resources. Record effective recipes for future reference but know that mixed products have random product names.

Manual vs. Automated

Manual Method

With this method, first, you need to choose your base drug and single additive. Once you’ve created your first custom strain, you can re-insert it to combine with another additive to add layering effects. Nonetheless, this method may be tedious and inefficient.

Automated Method

Automation is your friend for large scale operations:

  • Designate one or more Chemists to operate the station.
  • Add Handlers to get base drugs and additives from their designated shelved storage locations.
  • Use shelves for every ingredient where they will be added into the mixing station in a preset order.
  • For more intricate recipes with multiple additives, several stations can be daisy-chained together; for instance, a recipe that has 7 additives would require seven sequential mixers, each adding one ingredient at a time.

A typical setup will have a line of four stations which is the maximum a single Chemist can handle and served by handlers supplying ingredients and moving processed materials down the line.
