Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon provides players with various add-ons and materials to make their journey across the dark lands more exciting. The world of Tainted Grail is tough to be in, but there is hope for players to make their gear more powerful with the help of Weapon Relics and Armor Relics.

Players can find these Relics quite early in the game, but the exact process of adding them is not explained. This can be quite confusing, and you might not be able to make your character more powerful.

In this guide, we will explain how to add Relics to weapons in Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon and use them to take down your enemies.

How to Use Weapon and Armor Relics in Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon?

StepAction
Find GrindstoneVisit a blacksmith or crafting station
Add Relic SlotUse “Attach Relic” and pay 500 gold per slot (max 2 per item)
Attach RelicSelect slot, pick Relic, confirm
Retrieve RelicUse “Retrieve Relic” to remove/swap
Eligible GearAll weapons, major armor pieces (not rings/amulets/spells)

Relics make weapons better by adding unique effects to them. They can only be attached to weapons and armor that have an empty Relic spot.

The process of adding Relics is quite simple, but you’ll need to find a Grindstone and also have 500 Gold, in case the weapon doesn’t already have a Relic Slot. You can add up to two Relic Slots (500 gold each) at Grindstone.

The first thing to do for adding Relics is to locate a Grindstone. You can find one easily in the Shadow of the Horns region at Osbryht’s Blacksmith’s shop, but there is usually found at Blacksmiths.

Select “Attach Relic” from the menu and pick the piece of equipment you want to add a Relic to. If the equipment (weapon or gear) doesn’t have an empty slot, you’ll have to add one by clicking “Add Relic Slot.” It costs 500 Gold. Now click the added Relic Slot and pick the Relic you want to add.

Note: If you want to remove or swap Relics, use the “Retrieve Relic” option at the Grindstone menu.

Which Armor and Weapons Can Have Relic Slots in Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon?

All weapons can have Relic Slots. Armor pieces like helmets, greaves, cuirasses, boots, gauntlets, and capes have Relic Slots, while rings and amulets don’t have any Relic Slots in Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon. Moreover, all spells don’t have any Relic Slot.

Useful Tip: Relics have weight, and they increase your overall carry weight. So, instead of keeping them in your inventory, keep them in your stash. You can simply add them at Grindstone because all stash items are accessible from there.

How to Find Relics in Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon?

Although Relics are made available early in the game, they are still quite rare. You can get them from chests, by defeating powerful bosses, and by finishing quests and missions. Side quests can also result in some rare relics, so do try to complete them.

Bounties are also a great way to get the relics in Tainted Grail.
