There are many sacred treasures in Rune Factory Guardians of Azuma but when you start off you don’t know how to use them in the game. What do Sacred Treasures like the Plum Branch do in RFGoA?

The short answer is that the Plum Branch are used to perform the Dance of Bonds, Befriend Monsters, and Restore Power to Seasonal Gods.

4 Ways to Use Plum Branch in Rune Factory Guardians of Azuma

The Plum Branch has 4 use cases in the game.

Activate and Save Frog Statues

The first use of Plum Branch is performing Dance of Bonds in front of statues, including save statues to unlock fast travel points and frog statues to get recipes. You don’t need to equip the branch for this to work.

All you need to do is stand in front of the statues and press the prompted button to start the dance. You can only dance once per statue to get the recipes from frog statues.

Increase Bonds With Villagers

The Plum Branch also lets you perform the Dance of Bonds in front of villagers. This action will increase your bond and intimacy levels with all romanceable and non-romanceable characters.

Additionally, you can use the best gifts and handout spots to boost your bonds with villagers.

Befriend Monsters

At one point in the game you will get access to the Monster Barns and this is the point you can befriend monsters. But you need the Plum Branch for this to work in Rune Factory Guardians of Azuma.

Approach the Monster and perform the Dance of Bonds in front of them until you see a Smiley Face. Defeating this monster will let you give it gifts and then add to your Monster Barn.

Restore Power to the Seasonal Gods

During the main story of the game you will be able to interact with many Seasonal Gods. However, you will often need to restore their Power. This is where the Plum Branch comes in. Use it to perform Dance of Bonds in front of the Sacred object of the God to restore the power.

Sine examples include Ulalaka’s sacred tree and Matsuri’s sacred sword.
