Kingdom Come Deliverance II (KCD2) isn’t just another RPG. The game distinguishes itself from the rest through its realistic depiction of the Kingdom of Bohemia in 1403. This means that common features, like fast travel, don’t work like in other mainstream RPGs. The same goes for the skipping time feature, and here I will help you with how to skip or advance time in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2.
How to Skip Time in KCD2?
Time itself is part of the gameplay in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2. If players aren’t careful, they can miss out on some in-game content or quest deadlines. In KCD2, when some NPC tells when to perform tasks or continue the quest, players must keep the deadline in mind while exploring or continuing their game. However, in some cases, players would want to skip or advance time in the game, to progress a quest, or to perform a task at a specific hour. The following are the different ways that allow KCD2 players to advance the in-game time.
Easy Way to Pass Time in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2
The easiest way to skip or pass time in the game is by waiting. Given how the game insists on realism, it might feel counter-intuitive, but yes, you can wait in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 to pass the in-game time. This method will work, as long as you are not in combat, traveling through a dangerous location, or in the middle of a main quest.
All you have to do is bring up the wait menu by pressing the “T” button on the keyboard, the touchpad on the PlayStation controller, or the view button for the Xbox controller. Once you press the relevant button, a 24-hour menu will pop up. Choose how many hours you want to wait, however, do remember that waiting causes exhaustion and makes Henry hungry.

Other Ways to Pass Time in KCD2
You can also advance time in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 by fast traveling or sleeping. The latter is the best way to skip time in the game, as long as you have a bed to sleep in. Not only you will be able to advance the day, but you’ll also get to save your game, Henry’s exhaustion will be cured, and hunger will be reduced at a much slower rate.
On the other hand, fast traveling isn’t as reliable a method to skip time. This is because, there is no way you can decide how long the journey will take, which is why it shouldn’t be used to advance time in KCD2.
