Healing is an important feature of any RPG. However, given that Kingdom Come Deliverance 2(KCD2) aims for realism, there are no magic potions or spells that can heal you. One of the ways to heal in the game is to craft and drink the Marigold decoction, but it is the only way to heal during combat.

How to Get Marigold Decoction and its Recipe in KCD2
As stated, consuming the Marigold decoction is the only way to heal during combat or exploration in general.
You can either buy it or craft it yourself provided that you have the recipe for it. It comes in three strengths, Weak, Regular, and Strong. However, it does not instantly heal but restores health over time. Regular Marigold restores 25 health, while Strong Marigold restores 40 health.
Where to Buy Marigold and its Recipe?
After you have completed the main quest 4: Laboratores, the Troskowitz region will be open to you. In this region, go to Apothecary Emerich and buy the Strong Marigold decoction for almost 41 Groschen and the Marigold recipe for 130 Groschen.
You can also buy them from the apothecary in the Kuttenberg region, which opens up after completing the main quest 14: Speak of the Devil.
How to Heal Without Using Marigold in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2
Given the emphasis on realism in the game, most players prefer to use Marigold in dire situations, considering it isn’t cheap and crafting it requires resources. But there is a way to heal in Kingdom Com Deliverance 2 without using the decoction, and it is very simple. Just sleep in bed, and you will gain health.
For each hour you sleep, some health will be stored. The amount if health restored increases the more comfortable the bed is.
You can rent beds in taverns, and if you pay for long-term, it will permanently become your bed.
You will unlock beds as you progress through the game’s story. If you are confused about how to know if it is your bed in Kingdom Come Deliverance II, the player’s chest will be next to it. Also, when you interact with it, the prompt will say “Sleep and Save” instead of just “Sleep”.
Another bonus you will get with your own bed is free food. A soup pot will be next to it. Seeping in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 drains nourishment, but you can eat from the soup pot immediately after waking up, and it won’t count as stealing.
