Just like the first game, Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 has treasure maps you can follow that leads to amazing rewards. Throughout the game you will find multiple maps, but the first one is usually Vidlak Bandit’s map.
You get this map during the Lackey quest where you are tasked to save Vostotek’s horse from poachers.
When you kill the poachers and loot their bodies, you get Vidlak Bandit’s treasure map in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2. The poachers also have a treasure chest key that you need to open the treasure chest.
Vidlak Bandit’s Map Treasure Location

Luckily, the treasure that is indicated on the Vidlak Bandit’s Map is not far from their camp, which is understandable since that is where they hoard their stuff.
Follow the trail south from the camp until you reach the river, then continue a little south to the split in the river. There you will meet a place called the Hollow Tree — a big tree that fallen into the water.
At first, the tree might look empty. Don’t despair, though; go down closer to the base where the roots are submerged, and jostle around in the pool with your cursor.
You’ll find a silver cup and a tin plate, but Henry will remark that this can’t be all there is to the treasure. He’s right — the rest has gone out to sea.

Continue to follow the river south until it opens into a pond-like area with small islands and reed beds.
Here, you’ll find the Washed-up Chest hidden in the reeds. Go ahead and use the key you have taken from the poachers to open it, what you will find is 300 Groschen, a very expensive golden crucifix and a few silver plates and bowls.
