Lego Horizon Adventures is today’s pick for the best settings on Steam Deck. Usually, it takes a while to figure out what the best settings are for a Steam Deck game. Mainly because Deck is pretty old at this point, but Lego Horizon Adventures is really an amazing game for Steam Deck.

Lego Horizon Adventures runs really well on the Steam Deck. I think a lot of its performance can be attributed to it being Steam Deck verified.

The best graphics settings for Lego Horizon Adventures depend on what frame rate you want to achieve and how much sacrifice you’re willing to make to visual quality to achieve a high frame rate.

This is really not a game that needs a really high fps but whatever your choice is, it’ll rely heavily on TSR.

Lego Horizon Adventures Steam Deck settings

You will have to adjust graphics settings (Low, Medium, High) and TSR (Temporal Super Resolution) to balance performance (FPS) and visual quality. TSR take dig at frame rate, but I found that 50% TSR is the sweat spot of all presets.

The higher you go, the lower your framerate will be.

The best settings are 800p resolution at High preset running with 50% TSR. This gets you about 35 to 40 Lego Horizon Adventures.

  • High Settings: Around 36 FPS in the hub area (more demanding part of the game).
  • Medium Settings: If TSR is set to 40%, FPS improves (~54 FPS), but the visuals degrade with “ghosting” (blurry effects) and pixelation.
  • Low Settings: FPS can approach 60 in some areas, but TSR below 50% creates severe ghosting issues.

You can touch 60fps if you go low preset at 50% TSR but even medium does well but I think High preset at 50% is the perfect balance between visual quality and performance.
