NCSoft has confirmed that multiple of its titles will see delays and release roadmap adjustments as the company reshuffles its release plans to focus on quality and more importantly, avoid internal publishing conflicts.
Speaking during the company’s Q2 2025 earnings announcement, CEO Park Byeong-moo said that Breaker’s, originally slated for release later this year, will now launch in Q1 2026. Meanwhile, LLL is expected in late Q3 2026 at the latest, and Time Takers are planned for Q2 2026.

Park assured investors that the delays were not due to any development setbacks, but rather to make sure higher game quality is met, and to stagger launches, so games don’t cannibalize each other.
“We want to avoid collisions in our publishing schedule and give each game its own spotlight,” he explained.
The company also confirmed the cancellation of Taekthan (Project G). According to the CEO, the game failed to meet internal gameplay quality standards. Taekthan’s development will shift to a new game in the same genre.
NCSoft’s only major launch in 2025 is Aion 2, hitting digital shelves in Q5 2025 in Korea and Taiwan. Following that, the company intends to release seven new titles in 2026, including Breaker’s, Time Takers, LLL, and four spin-off games.

In its financials the company also shared updates regarding its push into mobile casual gaming. The company announced the establishment of a new Mobile Casual Center to dip its toes into the mobile casual gaming market. AI will play a big role in NCSoft’s expansion into mobile.
The Mobile Casual Center, led by newly appointed head Anel Ceman, aims to combine AI-driven user acquisition and automated live ops to maximize ROAS (Return on Ad Spend), which is fancy talk for extracting more money out of players.
