In Destiny Rising, you complete different events to progress in the game and level up your character while doing so. Each event requires you to complete different stages of challenges. New Light Challenges is one such challenges, having 14 stages.
Some tasks are quite easy to complete, such as finding cute little fur babies. Finding and petting a cat at stage 3 looks easy, but the only thing that makes it a bit complicated is where you find the cat at Haven in Destiny Rising.
In this guide, I will guide you how to find the cat in Destiny Rising to complete New Light Challenges because the spawn location of the cat changes.
- Event: New Light Challenges
- Stage 3 Challenge: Pet cats In Haven Once

All Cat Locations In Destiny Rising
The cat location changes every hour and so far I have discovered these 7 cat spawn locations in Destiny Rising at Haven.
Tip: Once you are close to cat you can also see a cat icon on the map and meow sound as well.
1st Cat Location In Haven
The first cat location is near Bazinet, go straight from where you will be standing as indicated on the map.

On your left beside the entrance, you will find your first cat in Destiny Rising.

2nd Cat Location

To find the second cat, go to The speaker and the cat will be sitting on the right side near the flowers.
3rd Cat Location
The next cat location is in the bazaar, where the cat is sitting on a wooden table on your left upon entering it.

4th Cat Location
To find the fourth cat head north in the map near the outskirts of Haven.

5th Cat Location
You can also find another cat near the bonfire at the exact location on the map.

6th Cat location
You will find the 6th cat in Haven near the Archive building.

7th Cat Location
There is another one that I was able to discover on the second floor of the throne room in Haven.

As reward, when ever you pet a cat in Destiny Rising will get an Angler Token.

How To Pet A Cat In Destiny Rising
To pet a cat, just go near the cat and interact with it to complete the third stage of New Light Challenges. It is a simple challenge, but the changing locations of the cats makes it somewhat annoying to complete.
