NetEase has recently trademarked a new game titled “Bad Guitar.” The trademark, filed on May 14, 2024, weeks before Summer Game Fest indicates a possible reveal at the June event.
Given that NetEase is one of the event’s sponsors, it is safe to speculate that the game might make its debut during the fest.

The trademark registration covers a wide range of categories, including downloadable computer game programs, software for personal computers and video game consoles, and mobile gaming applications. Although specific details about the game’s content and gameplay are scarce, the title “Bad Guitar” hints at the possibility of a rhythm game.
This speculation is fueled by the name itself, which suggests a musical theme, potentially involving guitar-playing mechanics. But we’ll have to wait and see what this is, and if it actually materializes at the Summer Game Fest.
Stay tuned for more updates as Summer Game Fest 2024 draws near.
