You don’t have a choice other than to solve the puzzle boxes, Moon Puzzle Box, Sun Puzzle Box, and Star Puzzle Box, in the Rhodes Hill Care Center, if you want to progress through your journey of Resident Evil Requiem. You will get quarts from them, which are needed to open the main door leading outside the care center. Considering this, you can’t skip them, and solving them is mandatory. In this Resident Evil Requiem guide, I will tell you how you can solve all three puzzle boxes.

How to Complete Puzzle Boxes in Resident Evil Requiem?

Solving puzzles is as much of a core experience as horror in Resident Evil games, and RE Requiem is no exception. There are a lot of puzzles and challenges in the game, not to mention the Final Puzzle, the most convoluted of them all. The following are the puzzle solutions to all three puzzle boxes in Resident Evil 9:

Moon Puzzle Box Solution

How to solve the Moon Puzzle box in Resident Evil 9?

The first one can be found in the Chairman’s Office on the 2nd floor of the West Wing. You will have to form the correct sequence of symbols to open this Moon Puzzle Box. For the hint, there is a journal with a torn page on the coffee table in the center of the room. Head back to the office room and kill the zombie there. After that, grab the Pencil on the desk and head back to the journal. Use the pencil to shade the whole page, revealing the following words from top to bottom: Moon, Sun, Star, Moon.

Use this same sequence on the puzzle box kiosk to solve the riddle. Open it to get the Moon Quartz. It will be useful later on.

Sun Puzzle Box Solution

Inside the Lead Researcher’s Office, you will find the Sun Puzzle Box kiosk, having a padlock on it. You will have to get your hands on the Corrosive found in the Conference Room. Carefully retrieve it from there, while sneaking around the enemies. Don’t pick any fights there. Destroy the padlock, and now, you will need the right sequence.

You will get the clues for this one spread across the same room, inside different photos from the research team. The codes will be Star, Sun, Moon, Sun. By opening it, you will get  Sun Quartz, as well as a journal that contains the main clue for the Organ Transport Box you find in the Care Center’s Garage area, which is essential to getting the ID Wristband (Level 2).

Star Puzzle Box Guide

How to solve the Star Puzzle box in Resident Evil Requiem?

The last one can be found in the East Wing’s Isolation Ward, inside the Security Office. However, this one is a little unique, as the etched in Braille. Grace will need help from someone else, the blind little girl locked up behind the Guard Office, to be more precise.

Once you have gotten the Level 3 Security Clearance wristband from the corpse slumped on top of the desk in the Security Office, backtrack to the Guard Office for a cutscene, which introduces the girl as Emily.

You will have to carry her back to the Isolation Ward. But first, clear the path to the Isolation Ward, as you won’t be able to shoot while holding her in your arms. Once it’s done, sneak past the Chunk enemy to the Security Office.

Now, a cutscene will play, and you will have to protect Emily until she solves the puzzle. Be careful, as there will be a zombie, which will turn you into a Blisterhead. Once Emily solves the puzzle, run for safety back into the office to trigger the next cutscene.

Emily will claim that she has gotten the Star Quartz. Well, the  Girl (the monster you first encountered at the start of the Care Center) wasn’t going to let that slide, and ambushed you two and kidnapped Emily. To get the Star Quartz, you will have to progress further into the e depths of the Care Center’s Basement and save Emily.

And that’s how you solve the Puzzle Boxes in Resident Evil Requiem. Hope this guide helped you.
