Romance options are the staple of RPGs and Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 (KCD2) is no exception. There are quite a few NPCs that players can romance and have sex in the game, and Lady Rosa is one of them. However, just like in real life, to be able to romance her, first players have to gain her affection through a series of quests. Here is how you can romance Lady Rosa in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2.
Correct Steps to Romance Lady Rosa in KCD2
As stated, Lady Rosa Ruthard is one of the many romance partners, in the game, and if you pick the right dialogue, you also get to see the sex scene at the end.
Before we start with how you can romance her, just remember that, during any interaction with her, choose the dialogue options that increase your reputation with her.
As for the actual steps, you first need to complete the “Rosa’s Book” quest and then rescue her from Otto von Bergow. The following is the step-by-step guide on how to romance Lady Rosa:
Step 1 – Complete the “Rosa’s Book” Quest
The first step to romance Lady Rosa is to complete Rosa’s Book side quest. You’ll get this quest when you talk to her during the “Taking French Leave” main quest.
Agree to bring her the book that’s in Maleshov Fortress. You can say the following:
“A wayside shrine?” > “A clever solution” > “There must be a catch to it” > “Come with me!” > “You wouldn’t be a burden” > “I’m listening” > “I’ll bring the book, fear not!”.
Be quick about completing the side quest, as it is highly missable. Collect Rosa’s Book while rescuing Sir Hans from the Maleshov Fortress during the main quest. Once you have the book, take it Lady Rosa immediately, and help her complete it.
Why do you need to complete “Rosa’s Book” Immediately?
If you take too long to complete the side quest, Lady Rosa will move to another location for story reasons. This means that you won’t be able to help her complete the book, and thus miss the chance to romance her.
Step 2 – Rescue Lady Rosa from Otto von Bergow
Now that you have completed the “Rosa’s Book” side quest, continue with the main story until you reach the Dancing With the Devil main quest.
During this mission, you will negotiate with Otto von Bergow after you have conquered Maleshov. He has taken Lady Rosa hostage, and you have to rescue her.
Otto von Bergow has locked himself and Rosa in a tower, so don’t threaten him to burn it down, as she will get mad at you because you are willing to sacrifice her. Here are the dialogue options and skill checks you must choose to rescue her:
- Let’s make a deal
- Choose any of the 3 skill checks, it doesn’t matter if they fail.
- I refuse to put Rosa in danger!
- I’ll try to rescue Rosa
- Yes, I’ll do it!
Select the dialogues we mentioned above, you’ll get an extra objective, “defeat Bergow in the tower”. Kill all the enemies in the tower and Lady Rosa will be saved.
How to Have Sex with Lady Rosa
If you complete the first two steps, during the Oratores main quest, you’ll take Lady Rosa back to her palace. Defeat the bandits at the palace and she’ll call you to her room.
First, thoroughly wash yourself and then talk to her. Choose to kiss her to have sex with Lady Rosa. Here is the sequence of dialogue options, you must choose to trigger the sex scene:
- It’ll all be alright
- Allies are our most valuable asset
- I won’t let you go away!
- Kiss Rosa
After the night has passed, she’ll be standing at the window, you can talk to her again. After this, she will appear during the Civitas Pragensis main quest to say goodbye.
