The first requirement to get Oak Wood in RuneScape Dragonwilds is to have a Bronze Axe, as the regular Stone Logging Axe fails to cut through more powerful oak trees. The game identifies the need for a stronger axe when you are near an Oak Tree.
To get a Bronze Axe in RuneScape Dragonwilds, you will need 5x Bronze Bars, 4x Ash Logs, and 2x Coarse Threads. Bronze Bars are crafted at the Furnace by putting Copper and Tin ores in top two boxes Charcoal in the one below them.
To cut Oak Trees, you will also need the Woodcutting Level.
Oak Tree Locations in RuneScape Dragonwilds
Oak Trees are found in many areas in Ashenfall except for Bloodblight Swamp and Whispering Swamp. You can identify them through their appearance, as they have a darker bark, and their leaves also have a different color.
When you chop an entire tree and a stump, you are given 28 oak logs in total. There is also a 25% chance of a bird nest dropping from an Oak Tree in RuneScape Dragonwilds.
Other than the areas listed above, Oak Trees are also found in abundance near the location of the Wise Old Man (NPC).
It usually takes 3-4 days for an Oak Tree to respawn, so come back to the same area to get more supply of oak logs.
