The Crystal Bow is a Tier 3 Mastermork weapon which can be obtained by completing the Heartstrings quest. The quest involves hunting down six trees located in the Fractured Plains. This RuneScape Dragonwilds guide will take you through the Heartstrings quest and obtain the Crystal Bow.
Unlocking The Crystal Bow in RuneScape Dragonwilds
All the trees can be found in the main zone of the Fractured Plains. Head over to the Fractured Plains area north of the map.
Navigate to the southwest of the map, where you will find the Dragonkin Vault. Now, head over to the northwest of the dungeon to find the first tree. Chop it down, and the Heartstrings quest will begin.
To identify if it’s the right tree, make sure that it has a small crystal at the bottom, emitting cyan light. The first crystal will be wrapped around a small branch, and the rest will be lying at the bottom of a giant tree.
Using this way of indication, chop all 7 trees to complete the quest and obtain the Crystal Bow.
All Heartstrings Tree Locations in RuneScape: Dragonwilds
Tree Location #1
The first tree is where you start the quest. It is what starts the Heartstrings quest and sends you off to finding more tree. This means that after interacting with the first tree to start the quest, you need to find 6 more to complete it and get the Crystal Bow.
Tree Location #2
As you can see in the image above, the second tree is across from where you interacted with the first tree. You’ll have to cross the river to get their. So head east from the first tree and reach the location shown in the image above.
Tree Location #3
From the second tree keep heading east until you come across a tree guarded by a Garou Hunter.
Tree Location #4
Keep heading east from Tree #3 and you’ll find another tree near a stone tower ruin.
Tree Location #5
From the fourth tree take the road heading north as shown in the map above. The tree is inside a Garou camp.
Tree Location #6
From the fifth tree head north as shown in the tree locations map above.
Tree Location #7
The final tree is north of the 6th tree, across the chasm.
The Crystal Bow is extremely good for players who prefer long-range gameplay. It has great stats and will help you throughout your journey a lot.
