Schedule 1 on Steam generates in the save file on your C Drive. There are multiple reasons anyone would be looking for the save file, like transferring save file data to another profile on another PC or the same one, trying modding, etc. All of these tasks require that you know where the game backup is, meaning the save file is. I’ll share all the necessary details on where you can easily find your save file of Schedule 1.

But first, let’s talk about the exact location of the save file.

Save File Location on PC

That’s the exact location of your save file; this path works for almost all users.

ClientFile Location
SteamC:\Users\[Windows Username]\AppData\LocalLow\TVGS\Schedule I\Saves\[STEAM NUMERIC ID]

If somehow you aren’t able to locate the save file of Schedule 1 directly, just follow these steps to locate it manually.

  • Close the game first, make sure it isn’t even running in the background.

You can check that by Ctrl+Alt+Del, which will open the task manager, and you can check whether the game is running in the abckground or not

  • Press the Windows key + R on the keyboard to open the Run dialogue box.
  • Type %LocalAppData%Low in it
  • Run the command, and this will open a folder under the name TVGS, open that
  • Inside this folder, you will see the game file. Follow the path Schedule 1>Saves, and this will open a folder with some numeric values, which is your Steam ID number. It will be different for everyone, so don’t worry if this number doesn’t match yours.
  • Open the numbered folder, and you will see the actual save file location with the name SaveGame_1

If you have multiple profiles set up in the game, you can find a different save file for each profile inside the Steam ID folder, e.g. SaveGame_1, SaveGame_2.

Now that you know where the save file is, let’s talk about why you should mess around with it. There are two main reasons to find the Schedule 1 save files.

First, you need to back up the save file to prevent data corruption. It shouldn’t matter if a game supports Steam Cloud backups or not; you should make a habit of manually backing up your data.

The second reason is that you may want to either use cheat codes with mods or try to edit the game files to get infinite money.

How to Edit Save Files in Schedule 1 to Get Infinite Resources

If your goal is to increase a specific resource, you should edit the game’s save files. In the same folder where the save file is, if you scroll down, you will see the files under the following names:

  • Game.json
  • Law.json
  • Metadata.json
  • Money.json
  • Rank.json
  • Time.json

For example, you can get infinite money by editing the Money.json file in the save folder. Editing is done through the text editor.

After editing the file, make sure to save it and then close the text editor. Relaunch the game to have an unlimited supply of resources whenever you want.
