Skip Intro Movie in Dune Awakening
The intro movie in the Dune Awakening is skippable; you just have to press and hold the space bar when you launch the game. There is a better way to skip the intro movie entirely, go straight to the main menu, and start the game. Here is how you can skip the intro movie:
- Right-click Dune Awakening in your Steam library > Manage > click the “Browse local files” option.
- A new Explorer window will open containing game files.
- Navigate to DuneSandbox\Content\Movies
- Inside the “Movies” folder, find the “IntroMovie” folder.
- Rename or delete it.
- Play Dune Awakening, and you’ll skip the intro movie, as it will load straight into the main menu.
You’ll have to rename or delete the “IntroMovie” folder every time the game gets updated, as Steam will restore the folder.
Skip Funcom Launcher When Launching Dune Awakening

- Find the “DuneSandbox_BE” executable, right-click it while holding the “shift” button, and click “Copy as path”.
- After that, right-click Dune Awakening in your Steam library and click “properties”.
- Paste the path you copied under “Launch Options”, and type -nosplash -BattlEye -continuesession %command% at the end of it. It should look like this:
C:\YourPath\DuneAwakening\DuneSandbox\Binaries\Win64\DuneSandbox_BE.exe” -nosplash -BattlEye -continuesession %command% - Launch Dune Awakening, and it’ll skip the launcher.
