Soul Storm and Haunt

Are Soul Storm and Haunt cards for Necrobinder in Slay the Spire 2?

These two Slay the Spire 2 cards will be extremely useful if you are playing Necrobinder with Soul cards. Haunt allows the harmless Soul cards to outright remove HP from enemies, while ignoring Block and debuffs that reduce the damage you deal. On top of that, Haunt cards stack on top of each other, meaning the more you use them, the less HP enemies will have.

As for Soul Storm, it directly deals damage to HP, getting stronger depending on how many Soul cards are in your Exhaust pile. Using a ton of Soul cards can easily demolish high-health opponents.

Undeath

Is Undeath Card good for Necrobinder in Slay the Spire 2?

The best survivability card for the Necrobinder, giving you block. The good thing is that it’s a self-replicating card, meaning the more you use it, the more copies of it you’ll have in your deck during a combat encounter.

Use a Soul deck to search for cards quickly. It doesn’t really matter, as it will work with almost every setup, provided you aren’t Exhausting cards.

Squeeze and Flatten

Squeeze and Flatten as best cards for Necrobinder in Slay the Spire 2.

Using both these cards together is extremely useful, as then you will be able to deal hundreds of damage in a single turn under the right circumstances. Squeeze will deal heavy damage depending on how many Osty attack cards you have in your deck. That’s because both cards revolve around Osty, Necrobinder’s minion.

If we talk about Flatten, it deals a fair amount of damage for free. Your strategy would be to use Squeeze first, and then use Flatten to finish them off. Combine this combo with cards that grant Block or Summon, so you don’t get cooked by enemies every turn.

Necrobinder Doom Deck

Doom will reduce the max HP of affected targets, though the effect itself does no damage. Once the target’s current HP matches the amount of Doom inflicted on them, the target will get consumed by the void after their turn, which will instantly kill them.

Just stack a ton of these cards on your enemies and let the debuff do its thing. It can take some time, so make sure to have some defensive cards too. If you want to make the best use of Doom, get your hands on the following cards:

CardsEffect
Blight Strike (at least 3)This will replace your standard Strike cards. Blight Strike inflicts Doom based on the damage they deal, making effects like Strength and Vulnerable very valuable.
Grave Warden (at least 3)This will replace your standard Defend skill. Grave Warden grants you Block and sends a Soul card to your Draw Pile, allowing you to search for more Doom spells in future turns.
Death’s Door (at least 3)Like Grave Warden, the main purpose of Death’s Door is to protect you from incoming attacks. Maintain your Block and HP while stacking Doom to win fights.
CountdownPassively applies Doom to enemies at the start of each turn. This card is great once you get enough Block/Doom cards like Grave Warden and Death’s Door.
No EscapeAn extremely efficient way to build up Doom on enemies. You can use this instead of Blight Strike if you don’t want to use any Attack cards.
Time’s UpDamages targets based on their total Doom stacks. Pop this once Doom buildup reaches half of the enemy’s HP.

That’s all for this Slay the Spire 2 guide on the best Necrobinder cards. I hope that this guide has helped you. For more on the game, also see our other guides for Slay the Spire 2.
