How Can I Defeat the Doomaker in Slay the Spire 2?
Before you can hit the Doormaker, you will have to fight a closed portal. Once you take it down, the boss will reveal itself. After a few turns, the portal will close and will gain full HP. The Doormaker will retreat, and when it reveals itself again, it will have slightly more HP than before.
As you might have figured out, the longer the fight continues, the harder it will be for you to win. Keep in mind that any buffs and debuffs that the Doormaker receives are retained throughout the fight, meaning you won’t have to re-stack statuses like Poison and Doom on him.

- Don’t use decks like the Silent’s Poison build and the Necrobinder’s Doom builds, because when the Doormaker comes back, it won’t have any status effects built up on it.
