During your journey of Slay the Spire 2, you will encounter several tough enemies and bosses, one being the Insatiable. This boss is a giant worm that you will encounter in Act 2 of Slay the Spire 2 and comes with a short health bar. How to Fight the Insatiable in Slay the Spire 2?
The sand below you will push you toward the worm boss. Keep that in mind, and after the first round, it will scream and gain four stacks of Sandpit while you get 6 cards of Frantic Escape. Each round, the Sandpit stacks drop by a point, which means that you will get dragged closer to the worm boss.
To increase the Sandpit stacks, you can use the Frantic Escape cards. You will have to finish the fight as quickly as possible because once all the stacks deplete, the worm will eat you.
It doesn’t end there, as the Insatiable can cast a Strength buff that increases its damage permanently. For that, you will see a blue arrow pointing up above its head, indicating that it will increase its damage next turn.
Defeating Insatiable in Slay the Spire 2
Buffs will play an important role in this fight, as you will also need to spend points to use Frantic Escape cards and keep your distance from the Insatiable boss. You can’t go wrong with cards like Stomp, which deal massive damage when paired with high Strength. You can also use cards like Inflame and Setup Strike to increase your overall damage. For extra points to spend each turn, you can use Pyre, or if you don’t have enough points left, go with Force
