Enemies in Soulmask, both human and non-human, can pack a punch. As you progress in the game and access to new areas, you will come across tougher enemies which means you not only need better weapon mods but also better protection through armor mods.

You can craft different armor mods to boost your protection against different enemies but also environmental hazards and increase durability.

How to Mod Armor in Soulmask

You need to unlock mod recipes in the Knowledge & Technology menu (press T). You can get access to basic mods by unlocking Medium Craftsmanship tech, advanced ones in Advanced Craftsmanship.

All crafting is done through the Craftsman’s Bench which crafted using the following recipe:

  • Stone or Flint x24
  • Rough Leather x5
  • Leather Rope x5
  • Hardwood Plank x5

You can then equip mods by dragging them from the inventory onto the armor you want to mod. Easy, right?
