Mods are not only essential for armor but for weapons too. You need to make sure you get the best mods if you want to have any chance of dealing with the dangers that lurk in Soulmask.
Weapon mods of Soulmask allow you to boost your weapon damage and even add new buffs and perks that are really useful against both human and non-human enemies in the game.
As is the case with traps, weapon mods also need to crafted using the right resources and crafting recipes.

How to Mod Weapons in Soulmask
After you craft a weapon mod, the next step is to use it. You can start crafting mods when you unlock Medium Craftsmanship tech in the Knowledge & Technology menu.
However, there are advanced mods that require Advanced Craftsmanship. You also need to get yourself a Craftsman’s Bench set up at your camp to craft weapon mods.
Craftsman’s Bench Crafting Recipe
- Stone or Flint x24
- Rough Leather x5
- Leather Rope x5
- Hardwood Plank x5
Place a Craftsman’s Bench at your camp and press E to interact with it to start crafting weapon, item, and armor mods in Soulmask.
I recommend crafting the following mods first:
- Damage Mod 2 for a significant boost in weapon damage.
- Bleeding Mod 2 for effective long-term damage over time.
- Coma Mod 2 for incapacitating enemies.
