Steam Deck and Dead Island 2 aren’t the perfect match like Spin Rhythm but regardless, with the right settings the game can be extremely fun to play. There are two ways to go about this, low settings for higher FPS while sacrificing graphics or crank up the settings for better graphics.
I had the best time while keeping a balance between FPS and visuals. The thing with Dead Island 2 is that FPS takes the back seat because as a player you want more detailed gore and zombies, right?
The settings I will recommend with keep the game at an average of 35 to 45 FPS, occasionally touching 50+ FPS. It is a playable frame-rate while keeping graphics and texture at an acceptable level for this type of a game.
