Fans are now hoping that this is the last they will hear of GTA 6's delays. A former Rockstar developer is of the same mindset, noting that any further delays could prove fatal to the excitement for GTA 6. Speaking to EsportsInsider, ex-Rockstar developer Mike York noted that November 2026 is a good release window for GTA 6. He pointe dout that a launch close to Christmas is usually a good idea, even more so when the game is as big as Grand Theft Auto. He also suggested that any further delays are unlikely, but if GTA 6 does get delayed again, Rockstar runs the risk of completely ruining the built-up excitement and anticipation for the game. York admitted that fans are growing impatient and they might stop caring entirely if another delay is announced. "If Rockstar delays GTA 6 again, the hype around the game will die out almost completely.
