Specifically, it’s placed in a location under Metropolis, across from where you can find the Torn Overseer. This area is not immediately obvious on the surface and requires exploration and platforming to reach. To locate it you need to reach the Metropolis region and head into the Underground section of Metropolis. Look for a corridor across the Torn Overseer area entrance and go all the way to the end of the closed off section. The Aftermirage Mod is sitting at the end of the room. When equipped it works automatically whenever you use MIO's Hairpin ablity. Each time you use the Hairpin, a decoy spawns it and drawns the enemy aggro. Enemies will focus on the decoy while your character can attack them. The spawned decoy will explode after a while but it also deals some damage when it explodes.
